I am partaking in an event in Las Cruces known as St. Baldricks. This is a non profit organization that helps raise money for cancer patients and their families. The provide funds for cancer research as well as to families for medication expenses, doctor appointments, treatments, and even simple living necessities that are often taken for granted. In this event, I will be volunteering my head! I, as well as other participants, will be shaving their heads in honor of those who are fighting cancer, and those who are no longer with us.
